Christmas Wreath

£50.00

2023 ORDER BOOK CLOSING : FRIDAY 17TH NOVEMBER

Make your front door into something very special this Christmas with one of my handmade Christmas Wreaths.

In my opinion there is nothing more beautiful than a natural wreath to greet your guests over the holiday period and you will be following a tradition from the pagan times when we made mid-winter evergreen wreaths to cheer us up in the dark and cold months, something we will definitely need this in 2020!

Wreath comes from the Old English word ‘wrioa’ which literally means “that which is wound around

My wreaths are made on my workbench in Redhill on a moss base with sustainably foraged and (some) bought foliage, seedheads, berries and cones. In a whimsical, hedgerow style I use what I can find to make these beautiful wreaths. It could be conifer, pine, yew, ivy, holly, teasels, cones, old man’s beard, dried hydrangea, viburnum berries or crabapples.  They Tend to be 14-16″ (35 – 40cm) in diameter.  I’ll provide twine to hang it but you may wish to add your own ribbon.

PLEASE NOTE THAT EACH WREATH WILL BE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT DUE TO THE USE OF NATURAL MATERIALS.

If you have a particular requirement or other size please just email me.

Wreaths will be ready for delivery  w/c 4th December and come with care instructions on how to keep your wreath in tip-top condition.  Once you order I will get in touch nearer the time to arrange a date for delivery.

I’ve decided this year to stop posting Christmas Wreaths so will only be making to order for local delivery or collection from Redhill in 2023.
