Indoor Kokedama Tutorial & Kit

Learn how to make 2 beautiful Japanese Kokedama and bring a unique way of displaying some beautiful plants in your home.  It’s fun, therapeutic, mindful and creative. The art of Kokedama literally translates from the Japanese “koke” meaning moss and “dama” meaning ball.

I’ll show you how to mould and bind your 2 Kokedama using the kit I’ve sent you. In addition all you’ll need is a bowl and some water, gloves if you wish and a work surface you don’t mind getting messy!

In your kit you’ll receive 2 Houseplants (usually 1 Fern and 1 Ivy but dependent on availability), sheet moss, compost, twine and enough mossing pins to make 2 Kokedama.

How does it work?

Once you’ve ordered the tutorial I’ll post you all the materials you need to make 2 Kokedama nd share with you a link to the online resources to guide you to:

  • prepare the plants
  • bind the moss to the ball
  • how to hang your Kokedama
  • and look after your Kokedama.

I’m available to answer questions by email or via social media.

Doing something crafty with green stuff helps us re-connect with nature, it can also be very meditative and calming.  I definitely find crafting a great way to switch off and green crafting especially helps me to feel better.
