A House full of Succulents to bring some green to your walls
In this House of Succulents I’ve used Sempervivium and Sedum to create a hanging House that can be used to bring colour and green to any wall, indoors or out. Hanging the House up allows you to really get up close to be able to see the different textures and details these plants have.
Succulents are plants that can store water in their thick, fleshy leaves or stems. They thrive in a desert environment, are generally drought tolerant and therefore pretty easy to look after! There are many types of succulents. The most popular are: Sempervivum, Cactus, Sedum, Echeveria, Aloe & Agave.
I’ve roped Mr C in to make this House of Succulents from upcycled pallet wood, chicken wire, weed membrane and compost. I’ll include care guidelines but to keep the plants healthy you need to water the Box when its dry to the touch. You may need to take it down to this or you can mist the plants and soil with a mister.
Dimensions: 27cm x 15cm x 7.5cm (each House will vary slightly due to the use of natural materials)
